across the narrows!

Just got wind of this tonight and we're going to catch *drum roll*...

The Killers, Interpol, New York Dolls, and Tegan & Sarah!

The outing will also be my first chance to step afoot onto Staten Island since moving here! OK, not as exciting, especially since it's the borough that stores all of New York City's garbage. But at least we get to ride the ferry across the Hudson and past Lady Lib for free!

The only shame is that I REALLY wanted to see Belle & Sebastian live, along with The Pixies and Beck, but they split all of them up.

It's so funny because I was just thinking today of how I wanted to spend my first paycheck to see a show. For once, my timing was perfect.
