What kind of a world do we live in?

To my England peoples, Lianna and James - I hope you and your friends/family weren't affected by this.

The effects of the blasts in London this morning can be felt as far away as New York, as the commute this morning was eerily quiet. And sure enough, upon getting off at the Times Square platform this morning for class, there was beefed up security everywhere.

When will we reach critical mass to end all this senseless death?

On a lighter note, have you guys seen the interviews with some of these Londonites? Cool as cucumbers! One guy's face was completely bloody and he had what appeared to be a giant gash on his head, but homeboy was completely chill and giving a lighthearted interview! Same with these two girls who had just come out of the subway, faces covered with blood, giving an interview and actually laughing! LAUGHING!?! They must've been 'gellin'.
