epitaph

I had lunch with the Senior VP of Business & Legal Affairs on my final day at my internship. A lot of stories were exchanged (okay, not really "exchanged" as I sat there and listened to all his amazing stories), but the one thing I will always remember is his advice on taking chances. And adapted from that I've put together what I now want written on my epitaph:

"... But he took chances, and that's what you have to do in life. You have to be honest to yourself. And sure enough, he'd made more than his fair share of mistakes along the way. But he who has not taken chances in life, has never really had to make choices."
