Let me put the absurdity of this into context. Imagine a professional sports team based in any other major city in the world and then naming your team after your state. So if you had a football team in L.A., it'd be the "Los Angeles Californians"; in New York, the "New York New Yorkers"; and in a foreign country, the "Sydney New South Walers". Lame.
