remember the 80s?

Like the Coca-Cola bottle that fell from the heavens in "The Gods Must Be Crazy (1984)", my musical world has turned upside-down since rediscovering Van Halen's song, "Why Can't This Be Love? (1986)". What a FABULOUS! (said in peppy gay voice) piece of nostalgia from the eighties. I don't even rememer exactly how it got on my list of mp3's, but somehow the random shuffle mix on my iPod dropped it down to earth like the aforementioned coca-cola bottle. Know what's weird? 1986 was 18 years ago. Damn, I feel old. Anyway, i've had that shit on repeat all morning long - from the subway ride to school to riding up the elevator for classes. Now it's on repeat again for the trip home. Fuck I feel like ROCKING OUT and dressing up in hot pants, baby!
